1. Be ready to bowl as your turn comes up, but STAY OFF THE APPROACH until it is your turn.
2. when a bowler in the adjacent lane will be bowling before you, please do not take a position on your lane which is even with or forward of that bowler's position until after he/she has released the ball.
3. If the preceding league has not yet finished bowling, please do not start practicing in a lane which is adjacent to a lane being used by the preceding league.
4. Be a good sport, and give credit and encouragement to others. Keep a check on your temper and language.
5. Leave all the razzing and kidding at the scores stand. Don't carry it on to the approach.
6. Get set properly. Concentrate, but don't waste time with meaningless motions. Confine any wierd movements to your own lane.
7. Don't offer advice to other bowlers unless requested to do so.
8. Be aware of and obey all the rules of the sport.
9. Be on time for the league and tournament play, showing consideration for your fellow bowlers.
10. Do not carry refreshments into the bowling area. Spilled liquids cause sticky approaches, and this problem could also result in a serious accident.
11. Remove outdoor footwear in the foyer area.
